Welcome

Hello and welcome! You've entered a vibrant community established by people just like you whose lives have been touched by cancer. We hope you'll find strength and inspiration from our personal stories, discussions and expressions of caring.

Ode to Our Mothers

“Mom,” “ma’,” “mommy,” “mama,” and “mum” are just some of the terms of endearment we use to refer to our mothers ... special names that show our unique relationship with her. Our mothers gave us life and nursed us back to health in times of illness. This month we celebrate all mothers on the CSN. Since cancer spares no one, mothers included, we hand-picked a few stories that portray their love, strength, and determination.

This month we have two special contributions. The parable of motherhood (by CSN member javajunkie) is a beautiful tale of empowerment. Also, we feature a touching poem written for a CSN member by a 14-year old friend. Click here to read the poem titled Aunt Michelle.
