Friends list

As a registered CSN user, you can add or remove friends from a Friends list on Your CSN Start Page. Your CSN friends will also appear as choices when you send a message.

To search for new friends:

There are several ways to find new friends. Here are some suggestions:

  • Use the User Directory to find a complete list of all CSN members.
  • Go to the main Personal Web Pages page. There is a Search function you can use to conduct a profile search. This search is limited to those members who have filled out their personal profile.
  • Look for members who may be active or have connected with you in discussions and chats.
  • Using CSN Search, searching for terms or issues relevant to your situation will return results from the entire site. All contributions from members will identify the member by username.
  • Clicking a member’s username will take you to their Personal Web Page.

To add a user to your Friends list:

  • Click the smiley face icon, located on every member’s Personal Web Page, and that user will be added to your Friends list.
  • In discussion groups, there is an "Add Author to Contact List" icon beneath all messages. Clicking this icon will add the author to your Friends List.

To access a list of your friends:

  • On Your CSN Start Page, under "My Friends," click "All Friends." From this list, you can remove names, send email, view Personal Web Pages and search the User Directory.
  • To go to a friend’s Personal Web Page:
  • On Your CSN Start Page, under "My Friends," click the desired username.

If you have further questions about your Friends list, please contact: webmaster@acscsn.org.

If you have a question that was not answered in this Help section, please send your question to webmaster@acscsn.org.
