Real-time group chats are available to registered members only. When logged in, chat links will appear on:

  • Your CSN Start Page.
  • The main Discussions and Chat page.
  • At the top of each Discussion Group page.

Click any chat room link, and the chat room will open in a new window. You can chat while moving around other pages of the site. The chat window will remain open until you close it by clicking the Quit icon.

When in the chat you can:

  • Type in your message and hit ENTER to add your message.
  • Double click another member’s name to invite them to a private chat. A separate window will open for the private chat.
  • Click the speaker icon to turn the sound on and off
  • Click the private allowed icon to make yourself available or not available for private chats.
  • When someone is not available for a private chat, anyone inviting them will get a message indicating that the member is not accepting private invitations.

If you have a question that was not answered in this Help section, please send your question to webmaster@acscsn.org.
